Reflectance measurements of solid samples just got easier

This bundle can be configured for four operational wavelength ranges: UV-Vis (185-900 nm), Vis-NIR (360-1100 nm), UV-Vis-NIR (185-1000 nm) and NIR (1000-2500 nm). All of these configurations provide a fast sample screening in the millisecond range. To achieve maximum light efficiency, the Ultraviolet versions include a high-stability and high-power UV-Vis-NIR deuterium and tungsten-halogen light source (LS-DWHP) while both the Vis-NIR and NIR configurations include a tungsten-halogen light source (LS-W).

The spectrometers included in this bundle are the FLEX STD or the ProNIR 3 for the NIR version, available both in 512-pixel or 256-pixel versions. The Reflectance FLEX Pack SPH is completed with a user-configured reflectance probe, standard probe holder and Diffuse and Specular Reflectance Standards.

 

Enhancing the Precision with the optional Slide System

The slide system is an innovative tool that offers a quick and simple method for switching between different samples without having to touch or move the probe and holder. This design is crucial for maintaining the stability of the optical fibers and ensuring a consistent distance during reflectance measurements. To further enhance the system’s versatility, Sarspec has developed a comprehensive range of slide supports that are also compatible with the slide systems of our Integrating Sphere and Multi-Angle Probe Holder.

These slide supports are suitable for powders, fabrics, films/solids, and solutions. Additionally, Sarspec offers slide supports with built-in references for both diffuse and specular measurements, as well as supports specifically designed for microscope slides (25 mm x 75 mm).
