About our Light Sources
Optical spectroscopy measurements rely on sources that generate a beam of light with an efficient and stable output. With that in mind, Sarspec offers a number of compact and modular sources for illumination and excitation that can be perfectly combined with each of our accessories and spectrometers.
Light sources for irradiation purposes enable absorbance, transmittance, and reflectance measurements ranging from deep UV to near IR. Light sources for excitation purposes generate high-power outputs ranging from deep UV to near-IR for fluorescence measurements.
UV-Vis-NIR
Series of modular and reliable sources for continuous illumination and excitation that use deuterium, tungsten halogen, and xenon lamps to cover wavelengths ranging from deep-UV to near-IR.
LS-DW
DW is a continuous light source that combines the spectrum of deuterium and tungsten-halogen lamps into a single optical path, producing a stable output from 185 to 2500 nm. DW is the best solution for absorbance and transmittance measurements.
LS-DWHP
DWHP is a continuous light source that combines the spectrum of powerful deuterium and tungsten-halogen lamps into a single optical path, producing a high intensity and stable output from 185 nm to 2500 nm. DWHP is the perfect light source for absorbance, transmittance, and reflectance measurements.
LS-XeF
XeF is a compact pulsed xenon light source that produces a strong output that ranges from 190 to around 2000 nm. XeF is the perfect light source for fluorescence measurements. It can also be used for absorbance and transmittance as a high-flexibility solution.
Vis-NIR
Modular and reliable sources for continuous illumination that use tungsten halogen lamps to cover wavelengths ranging from visible to near-IR.
LS-W
W is a continuous tungsten halogen light source that provides flexibility while producing a stable and high-power output from 350 to 2500 nm. Available in four versions for different output power and wavelength ranges, W is the perfect solution for absorbance, transmittance, and reflectance measurements.
LED
A compact, modular, and stable light source with a narrow band and high-power output that is available in discrete wavelengths ranging from deep-UV to near-IR.
LED is an innovative narrow band and a high-power light source that produces a continuous, pulsed, or modulated spectral output ranging from 265 to 1550 nm. It features an interchangeable LED slide, which offers extreme flexibility at a low cost, making it the perfect solution for fluorescence measurements.
UniLight
UniLight is a complete solution for a large sample and high-performance irradiation with great efficiency and uniformity.
The LED irradiation board spectral output in the UniLight is user-customizable and ranges from 265 to 1550 nm. It features a Controller Box for local and remote control with the Light Controller software.
