Powerful and reliable

DWHP is a powerful and stable light source that combines the continuous spectrum of two high-power deuterium and tungsten lamps in a single optical fiber SMA connector, which features an adjustable focusing lens assembly.

The combined spectrum of these two lamps produces a highly efficient output between 180 and 2500 nm and provides the perfect amount of light for absorbance, transmittance, and reflectance measurements.

 

Simplified application

The integrated shutter on the LS-DWHP light source simplifies the operation for dark measurements and limits the exposure to UV light without the need to turn off the light source while the lamp selector makes it easy to choose between an individual or combined deuterium and tungsten lamp operation.

Complementary to its high-power lamps, the DWHP light source has a built-in filter slot that accommodates a filter holder for narrowing the wavelength range or reducing the light intensity.

A powerful light source

The combination of a 30-watt deuterium lamp with a 7-watt tungsten-halogen lamp in a shine-through configuration provides DWHP light source with high intensity over the entire UV-Vis-NIR range. For maximum light efficiency, this light source also incorporates an adjustable 12.7 mm collimating lens.


Select only the lamp you need

DWHP light source has an integrated lamp selector that allows you to choose between an individual and combined deuterium and tungsten-halogen lamp operation, according to your spectral region of interest.


Shutter control for maximum performance

The built-in shutter controller included on the DWHP light source enables either a simpler operation for dark measurements or a reduction of the exposure of samples to UV light without the need for turning off the light source, resulting in a more stable and extended lifetime.


Use filters to select the ideal spectra

DWHP light source has a built-in filter slot. The filter holder that fits in this slot allows you to work with any 12.7mm optical filter adding options like narrowing the spectral range (by using band-pass, short-pass or long-pass filters) or reducing the light intensity (by using neutral density filters).
