W is a compact, reliable and powerful tungsten-halogen light source that meets the demands for most spectroscopic applications covering the visible and near-infrared regions. Including power output controller, SMA connector for optical fiber connection, with 

adjustable focus and lamps with different power (7, 14, 20, and 25 watts) provides the W light source with great flexibility and power efficiency.

A powerful light source

With W light source you have the possibility of choosing from four different tungsten-halogen lamps (7, 14, 20, and 25 watts) that range from 300-3000 nm for the 20 watts lamp and 380-3000 nm for the 7, 14, and 25 watts lamps. The optimum power to the optical fiber is achieved through an efficient optical coupling and adjustable focus.

Adjust the light intensity

LS-W has an adjustable power output knob to locally control the amount of light that reaches your sample. And with 4 different lamps with 7, 14, 20, and 25 watts you can always get the amount of light you need.

Shutter control for maximum performance

The built-in shutter controller included on the W light source provides a simple operation for dark measurements without the need for turning off the lamps, resulting in a more stable and extended lifetime.

Select the ideal spectral range

LS-W has a built-in filter slot. The filter holder that fits in this slot can accommodate one 12.7 mm filter and allows great flexibility, including narrowing the spectral range (by using band-pass, short-pass or long-pass filters).
