Reflectance Standards
- Ideal for Reflectance Measurements
- Wide Range Detection from 250 to 2400 nm
- Different Reflectivities for Diffuse Measurements
- Fused Silica for Specular Measurements
Relative reflectance measurements calculate the proportional amount of reflected light from a sample against the amount of reflected light from a standard, which is assumed to have a reflectance of 100 %. For diffuse reflectance measurements, Sarspec offers a set of standards made of optical polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) with 98%, 50% and 10% of reflectivity from 250 to 2500 nm.
These standards are hydrophobic and chemically inert, therefore can be cleaned. Furthermore, these standards also offer a long term stability, even in UV measurements. For specular reflectance measurements, Sarspec offers a fused silica substrate coated with Al-MgF2 for high specular reflectivity from 250 to 2500 nm.
