Covering the entire UV range. the SPEC SPEED+ UV offers high acquisition rate and the optimized optical configuration with a 25 µm slit, a 1800 grooves per mm grating blazed at 250 nm allows also a great resolution of 0.5 nm. The detector is an Hamamatsu back thinned CCD array with 2048 pixels with 1 mm pixel height for high sensitivity. Software LightScan+ allows the best flexibility for time and sensitivity control of the spectrometer.

The spectra obtained with a Mercury lamp is found below. The great resolution is proven in the detail spectra of the separation between peaks 365.015 and 366.328nm. Even a "shoulder" in the 365.015 that is related to the 365.484nm peak can be observed.
