Specially configured for UV/Vis absorbance/transmittance measurements the SPEC RES+ UV/Vis offers great resolution from 180 to 880nm.
This model is configured with a 600 grooves/mm grating blazed at 300 nm, 10 µm slit, Collecting lens, SMA 905 Optical fiber connector and a Toshiba CCD array detector with 3648 pixels.
The wavelength range (180-880nm) from this configuration covers a significant percentage of applications in Absorbance / Transmittance measurements, granting great resolution over the entire range. When used as a Diode Array HPLC detector supplies the best results with maximum acquisition speed.
The great resolution can be observed in the spectra below. On the left the spectrum of the multi-lines of a Mercury Argon light source and in the right the specific separation between peaks 576.960 and 590.066nm that is perfectly achieved.
