Extreme flexibility with a system suitable for liquid and solid samples. In the standard configuration you get a compact spectrophotometer with 22 (L) x 12 (D) x 6.5 (H) centimeters suitable for Absorbance, Transmittance and Kinetics measurements and software LightScan suitable for qualitative and quantitative analysis in the 380-1000nm (Visible and NIR) range. One filter slot is also available where slide filters can be used for a more specific wavelength range selection and/or educational purposes.
This solution can optionally be configured for Fluorescence where the same easy interchangeable LEDs principle as the LS-LED Light Source is used with a large number of slide LEDs available for different wavelengths.
In every spectrophotometer you are able to use an external port that can coupled to external light sources / spectrometers or just for external light detection. Use this port for Reflectance Measurements when using the optional Solid Sample Holder coupled to an LS-W Tungsten Halogen Light Source.
Sarspec's Ensina is a high performance, smart, robust, flexible, small and fast educational spectrophotometer with the use of the RSpec - Rotational Spectrophotometer. With the RSPEC principle, the user can select the operating modes and go through different steps by rotating the sample holder between 4 positions: 1 - Reference; 2 - Dark; 3 - Absorbance / Transmittance; 4- Fluorescence / External.
